Laser Tools 6288 Oil Pump Alignment Tool - Ford/JLR

The Laser Tools 6288 is a precision alignment tool required when installing the oil pump on Ford 2.0, 2.2, 2.4, and 3.2 Duratorq TDCi engines, also found in Jaguar and Land Rover models. If the oil pump is installed slightly off-center, it will lead to premature seal failure and potential oil pressure drops. This tool ensures the pump is perfectly concentric to the crankshaft during the bolt-down process. It is an essential safeguard for engine rebuilders.
